Overview

The VirtualBox plugin for Do indexes the VirtualBox Virtual Machines that you've created and allows you to control them with Do.

Usage

Do indexes the current state of all of your Virtual Machines and allows you to do the following actions on them:

  • start in both GUI and Headless modes
  • resume
  • pause
  • save current state
  • power off

Some actions are only allowed based on the current state of the Virtual Machine. For example, only machines that are currently powered off, or have a state saved are allowed to be started.

Once a machine is started, the only actions available are save state, power off, and pause.

Finding your Virtual Machines

To find your Virtual Machine in Do, simply type the name of your virtual machine, and a list of appropriate actions will appear in the next column.
