Overview

Connect to VNC hosts quickly with Vinagre and Do

Description

The Vinagre plugin for Do allows you to easily connect to VNC servers through the Gnome VNC Client, Vinagre. The plugin is part of the Official plugins repository, and the code is hosted in launchpad.

Usage

To use this plugin, activate Do and enter Connect with VNC as the action. Once Connect with VNC has been selected as the action to perform, hit TAB and type your hostname:port! If you use the bookmarking feature of Vinagre for hosts that you commonly connect to, the Vinagre plugin will index them and allow you to connect quickly. To quickly connect to a Vinagre bookmark, simply type its name, and Do should select the Connect with VNC action. If you're unsure of the exact name, you can type Vinagre Bookmarks and arrow through them to pick the right host.
