Overview

Description

The Tomboy plugin allows you to create a new note, and search notes in Tomboy Notes.

Usage

Creating a new note: Launch GnomeDo, and begin typing New Tomboy Note as the action you'd like to perform. Once this action has been selected, hit TAB to switch panels and type your note. The Tomboy new note action also supports creating a new note through the paste buffer. To use this feature, select the text you would like to submit as a new note, launch GnomeDo, and do as you would to create a new note, however in the second pane, chose Selected Text as your source, rather than raw input.

Searching Notes: Launch GnomeDo and begin typing Search Tomboy Notes as the action you'd like to perform. Once this action has been selected, hit TAB to switch panels and type the text you'd like to search for. This action also supports input from paste buffer, just like creating.

Note indexing: The Tomboy plugin also indexes your tomboy notes by title. Launch GnomeDo and begin typing the name of a note, GnomeDo will bring it up and allow you to open it quickly.
