OK I have added and removed Gnome do twice because of this plugin. This plugin would be great, if it actually read the media library, including id3 tags. as of now it only works via file name. and some playlists like Top 40 have numbers before file-name. This totally messes with gnome do - Rythembox Plugin, and only allows perfectly named files to play.an guarantee file names. Another option is to allow the plugin to search for parts of the filename. Like if I want Rhianna with NeYo. As of now If i type Neyo this track wouldnt be listed as an option because the file name begins with Rhianna. But in Rythembox library every ID3 tag is correct.

If it actually ready of the ID3 tags (which are or can be easily corrected for erors) it would be good. As no one can guarantee everyone uses the same format when naming MP3's.

Search Song Titles?

Thank you for this fantastic plugin for Gnome Do! It makes it very easy to access my music library! Would it be possible to also implement searching for songs by their title in addition to drilling down by artist or album? Often times I think of the song name first and can't always remember which specific album it is on.

Cannot get plgun to work

Hi,

I've installed the RB plugin, but I cannot get it to work. I have ensured that all music files are opened by RB, and I can indeed search for music. However, upon pressing enter my music does not begin.

Any thoughts?

Queue Item

Any chance for a queue item action? It would be great to be able to build a playlist and queue items straight through do.

Rate Current Song

It would be handy to be able rate the currently playing song through do. I'm not sure if anyone else would find this useful as well though.

I strongly advocate this feature. Rating a song and moving a song to trash are the most needed features through Do. I can volunteer to do the work if some how-to guide is passed. Thanks in advance. --meranaamjoker 4 Sept 2009 (UTC)
