Description

Set quick reminders with Do.

Usage

You can even snooze reminders!
You can even snooze reminders!

Use this plugin to set quick reminders. Simply summon Do, and start typing your reminder followed by a time or countdown. If you want to be reminded to do work in 10 minutes, simply type "Do work in 10 m". Then use the "RemindMe" action.

Once 10 minutes have passed, your reminder will show. Note that users of Ubuntu Jaunty (9.04) and up will have their reminders transformed into a dialog box, all others will see a notification bubble.

You can also create Reminders that do not allow a snooze.

Snooze or no snooze, it's up to you!

Time Formatting

The RemindMe plugin accepts many different time formats. When using the word "in", you can use 'h', 'm', or 's' to define your reminder time. For example, to set a reminder to do work in 1 hour, 1 minute and 1 second, simply type: "Do work in 1h1m1s". Note that spacing is ignored in, so "Do work in 1 h 1 m 1 s" is equivalent.

If you need a reminder at a specific time, use the word "at" in your reminder. To set a reminder at 3:34 pm, type: "Do work at 3:30 pm". Or you can use 24 hour time format by leaving off the am/pm; so "Do work at 15:34" is equivalent.
