Description

Quickly start a conversation with your friends.

Usage

To use this plugin, activate Do and enter chat as the action. Once chat has been selected as the action to perform, use TAB to switch panels and type your friend's screen name. Hit ENTER and Pidgin will open a new conversation with your specified buddy. Alternatively, you can begin by typing your friends screenname, and Do should select the chat action for you. Your friends will be happy you did.

Requirements

Pidgin has to be compiled with DBus support, which isn’t the case with neither the official nor the ubuntu packages. To find out if DBus support is enabled in your Pidgin look at Help>About (almost at the end of the text).
