Google Docs Plugin for Do allows you to open or delete documents, spreadsheets, presentations or PDFs in your Google Docs account. It also allows you to upload local files of formats supported by Google to your Google Docs.
Setup: Open Do's preferences window by clicking the upside-down triangle. Navigate to the Plugins tab, select Google Docs, and click Configure. Enter your username (including @gmail.com, or other domain if you use Google Apps) and your password, after your account validates, you may close the window, and you are now ready to use Google Docs with Do.
Opening a document: The Google Docs plugin indexes your Google Docs documents. Launch Do and begin typing the name of one of your documents. When Do finds the document, make sure the Open action is selected in the second panel and hit Return, the document will be opened in your default web browser. You can also start by typing Google Docs and hit right arrow, Do will list all of your Google Docs documents, then you can select one of them to open.
Deleting a document: Launch Do, and begin typing Delete Document as the action you'd like to perform. Once this action has been selected, hit TAB to switch panels. Do will bring up a list of your Google Docs documents for you to select from. Choose the document you want to delete and hit Return, the document will be removed into Google Docs' Trash. Alternatively, you can start by typing the name of the document you want to delete, then select or type Delete Document action in the second panel and hit Return.
Uploading a document: Launch Do, and begin typing Upload Document as the action you'd like to perform. Once this action has been selected, hit TAB to switch panels, Do will bring up a list of indexed local files of formats which are supported by Google Docs for you to select from. Choose the document you want to upload and hit Return, the document will be uploaded into Google Docs. Alternatively, you can start by typing the name of the local files you want to upload, then select or type Upload Document action in the second panel and hit Return. If you want to give the uploaded document a new name, you can hit TAB again before uploading to bring up the third panel where you can enter the desired new file name. The support formats of file to upload can be found at Google Docs' help page.
