Overview

Email an Evolution contact.

Description

The Evolution plugin allows you to quickly compose an email to any of your Evolution contacts.

Requirements

The Evolution plugin requires libevolution3.0-cil to read your Evolution address book.

Usage

To use this plugin, summon Do and begin typing the name of a contact in your Evolution address book. Once the desired contact has been selected and email is the current action, hit enter and your preferred email application will open a new compose window to your contact. It's nice to note that this plugin does not require that you use Evolution as your main email program, it just requires that you import you contact list to Evolution periodically. It works equally well with Gmail, or Thunderbird to do the actual mailing.
